About me
Araceli Aponte is the Career and Technical Education at Curie High School. She brings nearly 10 years of experience connecting students and young adults with work and job placements through the Chicago Archdiocese and Chicago Public Schools. She holds a bachelors degree in Latin American Studies from Amherst College. Alexander Kmicikewycz is the assistant principal at Curie High School. He brings nearly 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher and administrator in selective enrollment, charter, and district schools. He received a Fulbright grant in 2017 to study the STEM Applied Learning Programme in Singapore through the US Department of Education. He completed his undergraduate studies in math, molecular biology, and child development at Vanderbilt University and received a master's degree in math education from City University of New York City College through the NYC Teaching Fellows program.
