"Ben is is a versatile professional with a unique blend of business acumen and passion
for education. Prior to starting his professional career, he earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational management and an M.B.A. Ben’s career in the business industry spanned five years, during which he held various roles. Ben’s trajectory shifted when he was invited to work with local students on workforce preparation, which ignited his passion for education. This led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business education, which set the stage for a full-time transition into education. Ben’s journey in education commenced as a high school business teacher, and since then, he has assumed diverse roles, including positions in MTSS, building administration, and as a career and college administrator. Currently, Ben serves as the Director of Career and College Readiness in SD308 which serves approximately 17,000 students in grades K–12.
