About me
Martha Ebbesmeyer, University of Illinois 4-H Youth Development Educator, works with youth in Carroll, Lee, and Whiteside counties. She provides programming support to 4-H members, volunteers, and staff. She works with local schools and community organizations to deliver hands-on activities related to college and career readiness, healthy living, and science-based topics including chick embryology and STEAM. She serves as president of the IL Extension Professionals for Youth Educators and has received the Achievement in Service Award from the National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals. When not at work, you can find her traveling or exploring new experiences with her granddaughter, Kit.
